Story of the Week

As I work toward getting my Swedish fantasy series Adventures in Thousandworld published in English, I will be posting at least one English story on this page every other week. Some of these will provide glimpses into Thousandworld, its history, settings and characters, and others will just be for fun.

This Week’s Story:

New Thousandworld Book: Outside!

(And sample chapters!)

After the destruction of his homeland, young Prince Kasir escapes the clutches of his self-appointed guardian and embarks on a secret journey in search of hope for his exiled people. His destination, the Domain Outside, is a world of wonders, famous for its great heroes. But it is also a land of great dangers, and the path before Kasir proves to be more difficult than he could have imagined.

Outside is a companion novel to The Darkenstar, part one of the acclaimed Swedish fantasy series Adventures in Thousandworld. It serves as both a prologue to the series and a partial retelling of the first book, from Kasir’s perspective. This English edition includes bonus material: a short story from Thousandworld’s past, as well as sample chapters from the coming second book.

You can also download the preview chapters of Adventures in Thousandworld 2 for free here (pdf).
